Their courses include Indian Head Massage, Natural Facial and Ear Candling and are registered with the Complementary Medical Association, UK.

This wonderfully relaxing treatment includes massage of the main areas that accumulate stress, i.e. upper back, shoulders, arms, neck, scalp, & face muscles and also includes energy balancing.

This course requires no prior knowledge of massage and is a skill that can be learned by anyone with the desire to bring about relaxation and wellbeing to the receiver. 

For budding therapists this is the ideal starting point as the course ensures proficiency, competency and is internationally recognized. 

This level initiates the receiver to the unlimited source of ‘Angelic Reiki Energy’.

Theory

Includes history, contraindications, benefits, hair care and the use of oils, headaches, stress, client consultation, chakra energy, study of the relevant anatomy.

Practical

Techniques include effleurage, friction, kneading, petrissage, percussion, compression, pressure points and other specialized techniques. New massage skills are taught on each of the three days, plus time to refine and consolidate techniques

Exam and case studies

Following the course, students are required to do 5 case studies and a practical and written exam (multiple choice). 

Accreditation

This course is registered with the Complementary Medication Association (CMA), and is valid for 20 CPD points.

The course is suitable for qualified therapists, eg those qualified in Reflexology, Indian Head Massage, beauty therapy etc, who wish to learn a new skill.  Non-therapists who wish to do the course for their own interest can do the Natural and Organic Personal Skin Care Workshop.

  • Overview of product used – cleanser, aromatic waters, face packs, eye treatments, carrier oils, includes making a cleanser, eye gel and face pack.

Practical

Observe, carry out and receive a full treatment including cleanse, tone, compress, face pack, and specialized massage of the face and neck.

Accreditation

This course is registered with the Complementary Medical Association (CMA) and the Complementary Therapists Association (CThA/Embody) – the CThA is a branch of ITEC.  The course is recognized for 5 CPD points.

Ear Candling

1 Day course for qualified therapists – $420

This fascinating therapy has gained popularity in recent years as we seek natural forms of healthcare. Ear Candling is a gentle, non-invasive therapy that is easy to perform and beneficial to receive. It is soothing and helpful for conditions experienced by many of us – such as headaches, compacted ear wax, sinus problems, tinnitus, pressure problems and more. It is also a very relaxing therapy in its own right and helpful with the treatment of stress. A full treatment includes ear candling and a specialized massage of the face, scalp, neck and ears and lasts for 45 minutes. 

The course is suitable for qualified therapists (eg those qualified in reflexology, Indian Head Massage, beauty therapy etc) who wish to learn a new skill to use on their clients. It is also suitable for those trained in the medical profession.

Non-therapists who wish to do the course for their own interest can do the Ear Candling Workshop.
