  • Back pain and sciatica
  • Swelling and numbness in the feet and hands
  • Constipation, Hemorrhoids
  • Heartburn and Indigestion
  • Nausea and morning sickness
  • Hormonal Balance
  • General relaxation and better sleep
  • Normalized blood pressure
  • Sinus congestion, Headaches and migraines
  • Breech presentation.

What I bring to the therapy!

While Pre-natal Reflexology helps the body to be balanced and alleviates pregnancy related complaints it also helps keep the mother and baby de-stressed and relaxed. It has also been observed that regular reflexology helps to prepare the body for a relaxed labor.

Reflexology in the First Trimester

Reflexology is absolutely safe even in the first trimester. As a trained reflexologist I focus on the areas that need attention.  Nausea, morning sickness, fatigue and mood swings caused due to hormonal changes are issues common to the first trimester and can be alleviated with reflexology.

Reflexology in the Second Trimester

The second trimester is typically when the focus is on specific complaints as well as prevention techniques. Common points emphasized during a session include:

  • Thyroid reflex – to help keep metabolism on track
  • Lymphatic drainage reflexes – to prevent puffiness and swelling in the extremities
  • Pancreas and endocrine reflexes – to encourage normal secretions and prevent gestational diabetes
  • Pelvic area reflexes – to help with aches associated with an expanding uterus

Reflexology in the Third Trimester

In this trimester I focus on more pregnancy-related symptoms.

  • Circulatory system reflexes – to maintain or encourage normal blood pressure and prevent severe pre-eclampsia
  • Sciatic nerve, spine, and pelvic area reflexes – to help with back pain and hip discomfort
  • Digestive system reflexes – to aid in bowel function and relieve constipation
  • Uterus and pelvic floor reflexes – done towards the end of pregnancy in preparation for labor and birth.
  • Certain techniques are available to help adjust the baby’s position in preparation for birthing.

Reflexology for Inducing Labor

Receiving reflexology close to your due date is very effective for inducing labor and is a natural method for creating the right environment in the mother’s body for delivery. It helps the body release the hormones required for labor, opens the pelvic area for easy delivery and keeps mother and baby calm. Sometimes more than one session is required to help the body adapt to the therapy. This treatment is beneficial even for women who have not received reflexology through their pregnancy.

What does the receiver bring to the therapy?

 Frequency of  sessions;

Receiving the therapy at regular intervals helps the body to adapt and maximize the benefits of this therapy. It is safe and beneficial even on a weekly basis. However in the 1st and 2nd trimester bi-monthly sessions are highly recommended. During the 3rd trimester a weekly treatment helps the mother and baby to be more in balance, relaxed and prepared for the due date.

Japanese Cosmo lifting

Japanese Cosmo lifting is a unique non-invasive face lift that manipulates facial pressure points to tone and uplift the facial muscles. It stimulates the production of elastin and collagen resulting in improved skin texture. This natural therapy is ideal for all age groups.

What I bring to the therapy!

I use the cleansing, toning and application of the face mask from the natural aromatherapy facial therapy. I add ten minutes Reflexology techniques to support the wellness of the receiver. Furthermore, I give the receiver tips and tricks to use natural skin care techniques on themselves with the additional knowledge about the detrimental effects of chemical products.

What does the receiver bring to the therapy?

The receiver comes with the belief in the effects and the power of nature’s storehouse. The receiver understands that this is not a one-time treatment and a regular frequency helps in maintaining the outcome.

However please be aware that this is an in-person session and is not offered as an online session.
